Our Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers strive to serve God and enhance the liturgical experience for the congregation.

 

Eucharistic Ministers are lay persons who assist the priests in the preparation and distribution of the consecrated elements during the Holy Eucharist, and are licensed by the Bishop to serve.  They also may administer consecrated elements to those who are homebound.

The Lectors are those who read the assigned Scriptures for the day, proclaiming the Word of God by reading from both the Old and New Testament. In addition to Sundays, they serve at special services such as Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, and Christmas Eve.
