Our relationship with God builds on our relationship with the poor.

Mathew 25:35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.

The Outreach Committee selects an organization as recipient for a special collection on the first Sunday of every month to meet the needs of those less fortunate. 

​

The current month’s recipient:  Relief for the people of Ukraine via Episcopal Relief & Development Fund to provide humanitarian assistance to people fleeing the violence there.

​

Working through the Action by Churches Together Alliance (ACT Alliance), the Fund will provide cash, blankets, hygiene supplies and other needed assistance. If you’d like to contribute, please do so via Zelle using the email stbarnabasardsleytreasurer@gmail.com.

 

The organizations we have supported range from global to hyper-local, including such groups as:

Our outreach benefits us as well as our recipient organizations in the following ways:

•        Caring – We learn about those in need and how they can be helped –       from each other!

•        Giving – As a community, in the Lord’s house we give to those in               need.
