A CARING CHURCH
FOR CHANGING TIMES
OUTREACH PHILOSOPHY
“What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?” (James 2: 14-16)

St. Barnabas is dedicated to reaching out to others to serve the needs of humanity in the name of Christ. We sponsor a number of activities ranging from supporting a local Women’s Shelter, Veterans organizations, and Food Pantry to collecting funds for the Native American Heritage Association and Doctors Without Borders. We host several 12-Step groups, and are also founding members of the Midnight Run, which feeds and clothes the homeless in New York City.

You are invited to help extend Christ’s love to other by joining in our efforts.

The Outreach Benefits us as well as our recipient organizations in the following ways:
-
Caring –We learned about those in need and how they can be helped – from each other!
-
Giving – As a community, in the Lord’s house we give to those in need.
